NSF January Special Event: Seeing Over the Horizon—National security challenges during and beyond 2022

NSF is honored to have two esteemed general officers join us to share their perspectives on national security challenges from the vantage point of nearly four decades of service in the U.S. Air Force. Gen Lori Robinson and Gen David Robinson served our country at times of peace, war, terrorism, the rise and fall of democratic and authoritarian regimes, and domestic turmoil.

Dec. 8, 2021 – NSF December Forum: “Winter is Coming! You know something…Chris Smallcomb”

NSF recognizes that national security encompasses a lot more than just conflicts, diplomacy, and crises abroad. It also captures how we respond to extreme events at home including those wrought by Mother Nature. To bring this perspective into focus, we are thrilled to have Mr. Chris Smallcomb (NWS meteorologist, emergency manager liaison, and author of the Freakout Chart) talk to us about the 2021-2022 Winter Outlook.

Sept. 29, 2021 – NSF Virtual Forum: Who hacks and who wins?

Our upcoming program on Wed 29 Sep (Zoom only) covers a topic that was in high demand from responses to our recent survey. Mr. Matt Devost, a lifelong black hat hacker and cyber genius, will join us from an undisclosed location in the National Capitol Region to discuss cyberwars, artificial intelligence, and what the battlespace for cyberwars looks like now and in the future.
